On Thursday, Dec 12, 2008. 2030 Business People Club together with Saigon Times Group held the conference with topic: BRAND IN RECESSION.

In the Conference, Mr. Le Chi Cong brought in information about Brand and Branding in recession period.a According to Mr. Cong, this is the period that business should concern more about how to make their brand visible to the public. Visibility means differentiate, consistent and focus to core values.

To make the topic is more interesting and less intangible, Mr. Tuong Tuan Thong, from FTA research, also introduced the Brand Check methodology to evaluate the strong and weak points of the Brand comparing to competitors.

Preparing for the new personal income tax law in 2009, V4B conducted the internal training for all of its members on Saturday, Dec 13, 2008. Ms. Thy, our Chief Accountant, went through all aspects of the new tax law and help everyone to know things clearly.

The discussion part followed with lot of fun when everyone brough out the cases to asked and discussed.

V4B's members also agreed to speed up all papers to make sure everyone will have the Personal Tax File Number on early next year.

One of our Client, AN NAM GROUP gave the comment about our execution ablility and would want us to concentrate more in this aspect of business. V4B took that comment seriously and has been working out for the better process and shortent the dead-time.

After the internal Project Management System, V4B takes next step to apply the new Clients Management System. This is also product from 37Signals, called Highrise. Our accounts team just love this tool.

The tool helps us to centralize communication with all our Clients. All team members enjoy the better collaboration and the System increased our productivity. It paid for itself.

V4B is applying the new Project Management System called: BASECAMP. This is a good product from 37Signal company. It has all things that V4B ever want. And more than that, it does not include lots of things that we do not want. Simple and fast are the main charaters of the tool.

Last Saturday (Oct 25,2008), Vitamians held an activity for V4B to strengthen the relationship of all members. It was Ms. Huou's idea and she came up with 3 games. It was so much fun when we laugh together, play together. I enjoy the time and I am happy to see everyone was into the games.
